Cultural and Civilization Tour of the Historical Peninsula by Baykar Science High School Students
The first of our Istanbul Cultural and Civilization Tours, organized with the participation of all our students, has been successfully completed. This trip was designed to help our students gain a deeper understanding of Istanbul’s national and spiritual heritage. Guided by our history teacher, the comprehensive tour began at Beyazıt Square.
During the trip, our students explored significant historical and cultural landmarks, including the Historic Sinan Pasha Madrasa, the Grand Bazaar, Nuruosmaniye Mosque, the Tomb of Mahmud II, Sultanahmet Mosque, Sultanahmet Square, Hagia Sophia Mosque, and Gülhane Park. It was an enjoyable and educational day for everyone.
Teachers and administrators accompanied our students throughout the tour. The group also had lunch at the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education, where our students crowned this meaningful day by taking a commemorative photo with our Provincial Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Mücahit Yentür.
